Pakistan super league starting this March

As there were rumors about Pakistan launching a big t20 cricket league in 2012 but they seemed wrong. Rumors gave it a title of PPL (Pakistan premier league) just like IPL (Indian premier league) and EPL (English premier league). It is confirmed by officials that the name of the league would be PSL (Pakistan super league) and it would have 5 teams. It remains no more rumors now; PCB confirms that the Multinational league would be starting by March 2013.
Exciting news right? Yes, the moment was great when the logo of the Pakistan Super League was unveiled at a colourful ceremony in Lahore, with PCB chairman Zaka Ashraf, former International Cricket Council chief executive Haroon Lorgat and Pakistan captains Mohammad Hafeez and Misbah-ul Haq in attendance.
Logart says he is trying his best to get old cricket style back in Pakistan. He said,” With the rising popularity of Twenty20 cricket, every ICC member country has the right to host its own league. Pakistan has done hard work and I hope with foreign players’ participation, perceptions about the country will change”.
The Logo is a masterpiece as you can see below and is considered to be better than any Premier League’s official logo

The tournament contains five teams and those are:
1) Karachi Super Stars
2) Faisalabad Rangers
3) Lahore Warriors
4) Federal Vipers
5) Sialkot Smashers
The five teams will play 23 matches in 15 days. Every team can have six foreign and ten local players. The PCB has plans to expand the tournament to eight teams and 59 matches in it’s 4th edition (2016).
Chairman Zaka Ashraf claims that the tournament is worth 100 million dollars. Let see what Pakistan brings this time?
